THE CSCS EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES PROGRAMME

The CSCS Educational Initiatives Programme is a multi-institutional collaboration, to make available to graduate, undergraduate faculty and students the work of research in the humanities and the social sciences.

The programme includes:

  1. The CSCS M.A. online Programme in Cultural Studies (in collaboration with the Kuvempu University)
  2. Certificate Course in Cultural Analysis (in collaboration with Christ College, Bangalore)
  3. Workshops with Undergraduate Faculty.
  4. Public events, including international conferences and workshops, lectures and screenings, in association with various departments of the Christ College.
  5. Library Fellowships

The Library Catalogue
The CSCS Library consists of over 10,000 records covering books, journals, magazines, manuscripts, pamphlets, reports, moving image material in VHS, VCD and DVD formats.

The Media & Culture Archive
The CSCS Media Archive is a multiple database compilation intended exclusively for purposes of study, research and review. Databases currently include Human Rights, New Media, Issues on Literature and Print, Television and Telecommunications, Media and Law, Indian Cinema. This service is intended for students and advanced researchers working on contemporary cultural practices in India.
